CASE STUDY
THE PRODUCT
This app emerged post my Google User Experience certification. The decision to include it in my portfolio stemmed from a conversation with a friend; collectively, we identified the absence of a user-friendly and efficient application for saving recipes from the web or personal creations. Notably, there was a desire to integrate it as a social network. Recognizing the shared need, I delved into comprehensive preliminary research and crafted the Yumzie digital design to precisely address these user requirements.
THE PROBLEM
The majority of our users express a keen interest in saving and organizing recipes from both their personal collection and favorite culinary sources. However, individuals aged between 25 and 60 often find the process of saving recipes from the web to be quite tedious.
THE GOAL
Design an application that simplifies and expedites the process of saving recipes encountered on the web or created personally.y, we identified the absence of a user-friendly and efficient application for saving recipes from the web or personal creations. Notably, there was a desire to integrate it as a social network. Recognizing the shared need, I delved into comprehensive preliminary research and crafted the Yumzie digital design to precisely address these user requirements.
THE RESEARCHES
Conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I am designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research were adults who wanted to quickly and easily save their recipes.
Many customers have the problem that when they go to look for the recipe to cook it, they cannot find the recipe on their devices.
